I am trying to install a windows security update Q822925 to correct a
security vulnerability. The file downloads ok but when I try to install I
get the following error message:

C:\ file location here\q822925.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

I am running a new PC pre installed XP Home OS.

My IE is Version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920 if this helps with the
diagnostic

Thanks in advance

Tony H.

Usually the error message means that the file is corrupt.
