Invalid System Time

Hi all,
I am having troubles with the system time. whenever i log on, a msg box
"Invalid System Time" pops up, saying
" The time or date on your system is invalid. Pleae use the date/time applet
in the Control Panel to propersetly set your system time/date."
And I did, but no matter how many times I tried, the time would be set to
1970.
I guess it's somehow affected other softwares. I cant save files.
Please help.

On reboot, or right away?
If it's on reboot, your mobo battery is probably dead....those are simple
enough to replace.

If it is always resetting back to 1970 each time after you turn off the
computer, the most likely culprit is the small battery on the motherboard
that keeps things likely this working even when there is no power.

Replacing the battery isn't overly difficult but does require a bit of a
careful touch. Check with the manual included with your motherboard for
instructions on how to replace, or if you are uncomfortable doing it
yourself take it to a local PC repair shop.

It got reset right away. Does it mean it has to do with the battery?
