i get on the internet and when i enter something in a
textbox(ie. search bar) i get this message:

how on earth do i fix this. it shuts internet explorer and
it annoys the hell out of me.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
