Invalid Page Fault

Problem started over the weekend.
System working fine....Shut down for a time then
reconnected, noticed no graphics showing up and unable to
sign in to YAHOO mail. Graphics were replaced by RED 'X'
and error message signing in to YAHOO mail (Iexplorer
caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at
0000:35373755.
Loaded all patches to Windows 98 and upgraded to 6.0 of IE
and that solved the RED 'X' problem, but an still unable
to sign in to YAHOO mail. I have run a VIRUS scan as well
as a SPYBOT scan. No virus detected and removed all that
spybot had identifed to no avail.
Also seeing this error using NETSCAPE and trying to get in
to YAHOO mail(Issuer certificate is invalid -8156 - Java
reported the following error on startup
java.lang.security.exception! System classes were not
signed)

Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe
