Invalid Installation. Please Reinstall

I've windows 2000 service pack4 and office 2000. From some days ago it will appear a dialog window with title "information" and message "Invalid Installation. Please reinstall". Someone can help me to find where is the problem
There are no particular software installed and the seems to be clean from viruses. I scanned it with ad-aware and norton antivirus with the latest update

What do you see in your application and system event logs?
Do you have a firewall protecting your computer from the Internet?

you please uninstall the office 2000 from control panel add remov
programs. then you re install the program. ok.
