Hi there,

whenever a program tries to use the windows installer I get this message
'Invalid drive g:\' and the install failes. It is followed with a 1602
message. I have checked KB without any resolution. There is no drive g:\ on
my system.

Either your %temp% variable or else your "My Documents" on the
desktop point to drive G:. The first is set in the Control Panel / System /
Advanced / Environmental variables, the second is visible when you
click "Properties" of "My Documents".
