Invalid Display Settings (after getting rid of a virus)

I need some serious help here. I just recently had a virus on my computer
and I do believe I got rid of it. The only thing I can't figure out how to
fix is the screen settings. Everything is really, really, big. When I go
into the settings under display properties and try to change the screen
resolution I get this message:

The currently selected graphics display driver can not be used. It was
written for a previous version of windows, and is no longer compatible with
this version of windows.

The system has been started using the default VGA driver.

Please contact your hardware manufacturer to get an upgraded driver, or
select one of the microsoft provided drivers.

I don't know what to do now. Please help me. I have Windows XP on my
computer. I can't restore b/c I just got rid of a virus and I don't want to
mess anything up again. Thank you in advance and let me know if you need
more info. Thanks.

First this is an MS Access Datafile newsgroup so your question would be
better asked in a newsgroup for your specific video card. Usually
reinstalling the driver from the manufacture will solve this problem. Goto
the video card site and get the latest driver.
