I have an FE on the localdrive (developed in Access2000) and BE on a server.
In addition to linked BE tables, the FE is linked to 4 SQL Server tables.
The SQL tables' records are not updated, deleted or inserted by FE. All
client PC's are running OS XP. Several use Office XP while others use Office
2000. All machines are getting the "invalid argument error". It's not
always but it's getting worse. In addition, edits to the access records are
not saved. I removed the linked SQL Server tables and instead, imported
them. The errors have stopped.
I would prefer to link the tables because they are changed with another app.
Has anyone seen this before? What can I do to get the errors to stop?
