I have windowx xp, symantec antivirus, and cable modem.
My internet had been working up until last friday, The
Cabel company said its a problem between the virus program
and the software. the error message received in dos when
trying to renew the modem is "an error occured while
renewing interface local area connection : An operation
was attempted on something that is not a socket. Any
idea's on how to fix this?? Any help would be appreciation
since my son need the computer for college. Thanks
