Internet xplorer error msg

When I attempt to open D drive I get error msg "Windows Explorer has
experienced a problem and must close". Same thing happens with the Recycle
Bin. Everything else seems to work OK.

Internet Explorer is a different animal than Windows Explorer.

Run CHKDSK on the D: drive, maybe from Safe Mode and see if that fixes
the access to that drive..
