I have winxphome. I don't know if you've ever heard of
this before, but for some reason, my computer will not
access certain sites like Classmates.com. I called a
friend and asked him to go to the site and it worked fine
for him. It's really frustrating! He said it may be a
program installed on my computer that is messing it up.
Any ideas? I would be forever greatful!

You could also try deleting your temp internet files...Tools-Internet
Options-Delete files button.
Could you open a command prompt and ping the address? Is so then your
computer should be able to get to it.

You might try browsing to the IP address. If that works
you have some kind of DNS problem which could be your ISP
or something on your system. (If you have some DNS
caching software or have been editing your hosts file.)

Yes, I tried pinging it and it still didn't show up. The
only IP address it gave me was to my "localhost."

Adam, I'll second Dave's recommendation of deleting your temporary internet
files. I've had the same problem with several sites and this cured it.

I get a "page cannot be displayed," then it goes to
huntbar.

Adam,
You appear to have spyware/parasite on your PC. There is a thread on
grc.spyware group at news.grc.com titled Huntbar concerning this program.
This site was listed for an explanation of the
problem -http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/HuntBar.html
Running AdAware spyware removal program from Lavasoft should take care of
it.
