A few months ago a fellow posted a registry hack that would
allow you to set the frequency that the time was sync'ed with
the internet.

After a recent power supply failure, my clock runs fast to the
tune of 4 minutes a day - I'd like to set the PC to sync the time
to the internet every 12 hours.

I tried Googling for the post but had no luck.

Can anyone help?

Go to www.dougknox.com and in the left column pick Win XP Utilities.
Scroll down just a little and you'll see "Change Internet Time Update
Interval". I used it myself a while back... works great.
