Internet shuts down

On our laptop, when we click to open up the internet MSN
page comes up, we type in the address we want to go to
and it will "close" down. We have run virus scans off of
microsoft for sasser, nimba, all the virus that we can
think of.....it says we do not have a virus. This only
happens on our laptop, not on any other computer in the
lab. The are all networked together, so it has to do with
the laptop. There are no error messages......when you
click on the blue "explorer" to open up the internet, our
home page is msn, it will come up and then when you go to
type in the website you want to go to, it "closes"
down....like the internet was never opened! So you go
back to the blue "explorer" icon, open it back up and it
will come up to msn, we go to type in a website to go to
and it closes.......dito, dito....so we are asking if
anyone may know why this is doing that or the cause of
the problem?

Please email me the responses as I may not check this as
often as my email.
Thanks,
Kevin
