internet shortcuts

Please can somebody help, my system is loading unwanted
and undesirable internet shortcuts to my c drive, from
sites that as far as I know have not been visited

I have tried deleteing items and emptying the bin but the
items seem to be relaoding when I start up computer or
internet.

I have spybot which has been installed and used, but the
same shortcuts keep appearing.

cannot identify through properties of the files where
they are being loaded from.

ANY suggestions on getting rid permenantly or identifying
where/which application is loading them?

Aparently it is an act of some unwanted programs.
@ Check any unwanted shortcuts under manu Start->Programs->Startup and
delete it.
@ Open c:\Windows\Wininit.ini file and look for any unusual
@ Check all the executable files under C:\Windows or c:\winnt directory with
the timestamp around the start of your nightmare.
