Internet Sharing - imap mail on client machines blocked!

Hi, Any help would be much appreciated on the following folks?...

I've setup a wireless network (via Apple Extreme) for Macs & PC. The
internet connection at the server is always on (Skydsl download, 56k upload)
and is shared to the wireless nw. Everything working fine except I'm unable
to get imap mail on a windows or Mac client machine connected to the nw. It
works fine on the server machine. There is no Firewall on the server at
present. I can't telnet port 143 from the client machines either but I can
from the server...

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I'm wondering - if NAT was enabled on the network would this confuse things???
