Internet Provider (ISP) For Gateway

I need something that will grab an IP address, and do a URL update! Has
anyone seen a script that will query and copy?

Something like this:

http://24.57.192.59/lib
will change to: http://24.57.###.###/lib

Where exactly the change has to be done
You probably have to write a script that can reach the gateway location (if
it is accessible).
