Internet Properties Connections

Hi

Under Internet Properties\Connections until recently I have had my broadband dialup set to 'Always dial my default connection' and for quite a long time this worked fine, dialing up automatically whenever I logged into XP. Then I started receving a 2nd Internet dialup box as well on which I was advised to select 'Never dial a connection'. I would like to connect to the internet automatically without having to goto Internet Connection and clicking Dial, when I log in.

I was hoping that you could please let me know how to set this up. I am not going via a router.

Your post is unclear - broadband does not normally involve dialing
anything up. Please describe your Internet connection better.

Usually with DSL or cable, you would set the dialup to either "only dial
when network connection is not present" or "never dial".

Have you got a current version antivirus in place? What firewall are you
using? Is the computer malware-free? If not, do the steps here:

If you want more help, post back with details, including what you have
already done to troubleshoot.
