Internet problem

I can not get on to the internet. My network settings are fine. I
walked through everything with my ISP and everything is working as it
should. I can ping other sites. I've run AV and Anti-Spy software and
all seems OK. I have all the latest XP updates. Is there somthing I
should check in Internet Explorer?
