internet problem on clients computer

on the second computer I am unable to connect to some websites including
microsoft.com, I am unable to use msn messenger I have got the internet on
the second P.C but am unable to connect to some sites. The host P.C on the
network does not have any of these problems, this has only started happening
since we installed windows xp service pack 2 on the P.Cs. If anyone has come
accross any of these problems do you know of any solution to resolve it.
