Internet printing/opening ports?

Hi folks,
I see Microsoft has a Q article (

US;252416 ) that would seem to suggest that you need to
open some port(s) in order for internet printing to work
behind a NAT firewall...but they don't say which port(s)
and are they UDP (which I suspect), TCP or both. Does
anyone have any idea(s)??? Thank you.
