Hi, I have been trying to access Tools > Internet Options
on my Microsoft Internet Explorer, but I keep getting this
message:

This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on
this computer. Please contact your system administrator.

However, this is my own personal computer. I had been able
to access Internet Options in the past, but haven't in
quite a while now, and it's rather bothersome. Does anyone
know why this is or what I can do about it?

Thanks.
Carlie

Disable/Enable Set Internet Options in Win95/98

Additional note: Restricting Internet Options in IE also has the side
effect of restricting Folder Options in Windows Explorer. Undoing the
NoBrowserOptions setting with this script will re-enable the Folder Options
in Windows Explorer. Your antivirus software may report this script as
potentially malicious, or a possible virus. This is because the script
writes to the System Registry.

Usage: Download fix_internetoptions.vbs and save this file to your hard
drive. Navigate to where you saved it and double click the file. The VB
Script file will check for the appropriate value and if not found will
create it. If the value was found, it will be toggled to its opposite state
and you will be informed that you need to restart. This script can be
viewed in Notepad or any text editor, as to the specific Registry key and
value that are updated..
