Not sure what happened, but all of a sudden I can't access the Internet
Options in Tools.

The popup reads: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in
effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator".

The only thing I can think of that might've caused it was from running
several different spyware programs; Ad-Aware, Traceless, SpywareBlaster and
Spybot, none of which have caused this or any other problems in the past.

The strange thing is that I'm the administrator and only user of this XP
computer, I even have the guest account turned off. So how can it deny me
access?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have Spybot Search & Destroy installed?
If so>start>programs>SS&D (advanced mode)>immunise>uncheck the 3 items at
the bottom.

Thanks Mac, that was it. You know, I thought I might've checked something
relating to this when I was going through all of the options in Spybot S&D
last night. But it was the first time I had really tried to see what all
there was in the program and couldn't remember just where and in which one
of the 4 similar programs I'm running that it was in. Thanks again.

Thanks Ramesh, Mac showed me that it was in the way I had Spybot S&D set up,
but thanks for all of the other very valuable links that I can use. Thanks
again.
