Hi,

I am currently trying to fix a friends computer. The
problem is that the General Tab in Internet options has
disapeared. I have tried to repair and reinstall the
browser to no avail. He is using Win XP and IE 6.0

Would you have any ideas?

Reset the Internet Explorer tabs and remove all the browser restrictions.

Restore All tabs in IE and Removes the ** Internet Options ** Restrictions
as well

The problem is due to a spyware. Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com,
scan the system and eliminate the malware products. Re-apply the above fix
if necessary.
** Remember to update the pattern file using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware **
