Hello

I've got a notebooke with a Intel Pentium 4 M CPU and internet
connection over broadband via NIC. If i try to connect to the internet
the pages starts very slow. In many cases the pages wouldn't be shown.
Site could not be found apears.
I also tried to ping a site but i received a timeout. I'm writing this
message from the same network. As you see, it works perfectly. All other
computers on the network works well.

Any idea?

Thanks out of the sunny Switzerland

Do you have a router on your broadband connection ? If
not, you need one. Also ping won't work with the Internet
Connection Firewall (default settings) turned on . . . and
it doesn't work perfectly if you can't get to some
sites . . . you should be able to get to (almost) any
site, maybe not Bill Gates' private LAN, etc. . . .
