I need to install the above Windows Component.
However when trying to install I recieve a message "Insert Windows XP
Professional Service Pack 2 CD", I do not have such a CD and all those whom
I speak to have never heard of this CD. Windows XP came with only one CD.

How do I obtain this CD, is there a place on the web that I can download it?
I have Googled for it but all the sites assume that I have it.
 
You can download the IIS from microsoft website.

Search in products and then make a search.

Type IIS in the microsfot site and look for the one for WinXP home or
professional depending your version.

Have you tried putting in the original CD the system was installed from?

I just had this happen with a recent Win XP with SP2 disk and that's what it
wanted, the original install disk. The message should include the word
"With", as in
"Insert Windows XP Professional WITH Service Pack 2 CD"

I have tried the original CD and only some of the files were on there, which
prompted my search for the elusive CD. PS I eventually found it from someone
who had recently bought a new computer

Hi

I have looked for it on the Mocrosoft website and either I am inept but I do
not seem to find how to install this without the appropriate disc. Lots of
information on how to use it but nothing on how to install it. It always
starts with "Insert the ... Disc" etc
