Internet headers in some messages in Outlook 2003

This message is for bruce2u2. As someone who is also experiencing this
problem, I have been in contact with Microsoft. Because Microsoft outsources
it's tech support to India, and because the people providing tech support for
Microsoft products do not have a command of the English language, it is very
difficult to get through to them, in language they can understand, what the
problem is. They have been provided copies of e-mails affected by this
problem.

Basically, the answer they provide is that there is "no resolution to this
problem at this time." Further, "if enough people start having this problem,
they will address it." In the meantime, if they happen on a solution, they
will let me know.

So, why are you not posting this here or is there some language barrier that YOU have?

Oh, and you never answered Brian's post about what OS you are using
and how you are receiving the emails. Vista and BCC in Outlook
2003, right?

Or are you just a troll who enjoys abusing the volunteers here?

| Actually, Milly, Brian has been provided with my OS system
| information; he's been provided e-mail samples; three times; he's
| been provided with everything he's asked for. You know what happens,
| Milly, when you assume things instead of knowing what you are talking
| about? Now, Milly, if you had read all the posts with some measure
| of understanding about what was said, you would know that I have
| contacted Microsoft support which happens to be in INDIA. The
| techies who have called my home, from INDIA, do not have a grasp of
| the English language; they are not English literate either in
| speaking it or writing it. Microsoft needs to get their tech support
| BACK on American soil and keep it there. Secondly, if you read my
| response to bruce2u2, I encouraged him to contact Microsoft as he is
| having the same problem with the conflict between Vista (yes, Milly,
| that is an OS) and Microsoft 2003 Outlook.
|
| Maybe you and Tom and Brian would be far more helpful if you actually
| tried to help rather than protect the fact that a wall has been put
| up between Microsoft and people using Microsoft to discourage those
| people from trying to get the issues involving Microsoft software
| resolved.
|
| Oh, BTW, if this website isn't a Microsoft website, why is the URL
| for this site http://www.microsoft.com/officie/community/en-us/...
| and why is their logo in the upper left corner of my screen? Quite
| obviously, Milly, Microsoft owns and operatives this forum.
|
| Now, I've requested a one on one with a microsoft tech who speaks
| English. That's all I require and unless Microsoft doesn't provide
| service after the sale, that's what will be provided to me. Brian
| Tillman has received no less than 8 e-mails from me. My e-mail
| address is on each of those e-mails. That e-mail address can be
| forwarded to Microsoft. Since no e-mail address is provided for me
| to contact them, they are going to have to contact me (there's that
| stupid logic again). It is quicker, faster, and judging from this
| whole charade on the part of those of you calling yourselves MVP's
| for Outlook, a lot more efficient.

I didn't start this little sarcastic onslaught, Milly, Brian did. I neither
asked for nor requested Brian's response to my message to bruce2u2. Brain
took it upon himself to join in. When you stick your nose in where it
doesn't belong and isn't asked for, you often get more than you bargained
for. Don't like it, Milly, too bad. I could really care less.

So, you really do care then? My day has been made.

I have the same problem as has been described and after searching the internet have not come up with a solution.
New laptop with Vista instead of XP, Outlook 2003. Emails sent with me as BCC are displayed with all the header information in plain text including funny formatting e.g. "=20" or text description of what it should be. Worked fine on old laptop and there are no settings I can find to change anything. Any images are complete gobbledygook, and the text is displayed twice.
I cannot find any info from Microsoft or even any way of reporting it to them. Any ideas welcome.

As has been stated numerous times, that's a known issue with Outlook 2003 on
Vista and Microsoft is looking into it.

Using windows Xp Pro & office 2003 also have office 2000 on some machines.

I was exploring the whole pages about a problem that occured in first month
of
this year. Before that there was no problem. Some mails strangly turned into
mime type formats & stupid char sets as well even i tested the machine alone
when you put a hyperlink to outlook word or outlook office then the page
contains also different char sets like " ÅŸ " on web pages when i simply copy
the text & paste it to explorer it shows the page's char sets correctly.

However by the same reason i believe some emails CANT be recieved by Outlook
Express OR Outlook 2003 at client side. It Blocks pop3 download until that
mail (one of them & randomly) deleted from inbox of the user at server side...

It looked like same to me....
