I know this post might be conceived as being posted to the wrong news group,
but since I recently installed Windows XP on my system and love it, I
thought this might be something associated with Windows XP.

I have set my Home Page to MSN.com and for some reason when I launch the
browser, the Home Page seems to me set to go to http://freeze.myway.com/
instead of http://www.msn.com/ which is currently where I want to go when I
launch the browser... how do I make my browser launce the correct Home page
I keep telling it I want it to open to?
And, not http://freeze.myway.com/...

Thanks,

Here's a good, thorough, answer posted by MVP Harry Ohrn:You likely have any of a variety of spyware, hoistware or whatever the term
is to describe these unscrupulous apps/sites that want to take control of
your system for you.

First download, install, update and run free version of Ad-Aware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ . Let is find and then remove
the spyware it finds. When finished Reboot your system. Download and install
Spyware Blaster, run the update and then select All to protect your system
from future spyware. Periodically check for updates.

Once you've stripped out the offending spyware and protected your system go
to Internet Options->General Tab and set msn.com as your homepage again.
