internet explorer

my internet explorer 6 says that it has encountered a
problem and needs to close. i had a virus that was
repaired and maybe this affected it. i can't get it to
work. i can only access the internet on my guest
account. how can i fix this problem?

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
