I have about 150 urls grouped in 15 sub folders stored
under my favorites in my internet explorer. I would be
devastated if all this were ever lost. How do I identify
and find the folder that holds the Internet
Explorer "favorites" list so I can back it up to disk?

Explorer "favorites" list so I can back it up to disk?

They're in:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Favorites

Replace C: with your system drive letter and "username" with your own
username. Each user can have his/her own favorites and if you look in the
username, "All Users", those Favorites will be common to every user.
