Hi!
I'm using XP SP2. When I go to a site and click on a link, instead of the
link opening in another window, it changes the original window I was in.
This is driving me crazy, and am sure there is an easy fix but I can't see it.

I want link to open in seprate windows, so therefore I'd have multiple
sessons of IE open at the same time. It used to be this way until I had to
restore my PC and i received all the updates from the MS site.

Even when I am ina site (say google.com) and I click on the IE icon to open
another session, my google.com instaed changes to my home page and no ther
session is open.

HELP!

Thanks!

Open IE
Click on tools\internet options\advanced
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
Click apply
Click OK

Hi, Larry!
Thanks, but it still didn't work. Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Turk,

Sorry--that is the only setting I know of that will always force a new
window.
