I Just installed service pack 2, and now internet explorer will not let me
set my home page. The default home page is MSN and the setting to change it
is greyed out.
Also the internet explorer icon on the desktop is not linked to explorer, it
is linked to the open with dialogue box.
Any suggestions?

I suggest you to change your browser, like netscape........

Good idea. I just changed to Netscape 7.2, it is lightning fast.
Thanks.

Looks like you have either a spyware issue, Group Policy (gpedit.msc)
or a other local settings.
Use Explorer, File Types options to change the Explorer icon to the
correct Open Action.
