internet explorer v6

my internet browser keeps hanging up..it is internet
explorer v6 with all the updates. almost all internet
attempts on the top of the page is will say internet
explorer not responding then i get the internet explorer
must close box. when i click on the error information is
always says hungapp. i even dumped and reinstalled
internet explorer from microsoft's page and when
reinstalled the new browser does the same thing...whats
wrong?? thanks timbo
