Internet Explorer toolbar settings not saved

I'm using Windows XP with IE 6.0 and the toolbar settings
keep going back to the default settings after a reboot.
They stay configured as I go in and out of IE, but after
my PC has been restarted, the default values are restored.

MS probably considers that a ***feature*** as they do many
other Bugs...

SOS DD from the thieves in Redmond !

Wish I could solve you're issue but the only means I know
is to switch to Linux as I have done.
