internet explorer shuting down

Message saying internet explorer has encountered problem
and is shuting down. It does this when I have or have not
opened internet explorer. It askes if I want to send a
report. I have sent several reports, but have got no help
from microsoft . I use windows me. It has been occuring
for four months. I have uninstalled explorer and have
updated. I have updated windows a few days ago. Please
help me . Thank you. Milt
