Internet Explorer Shutdown; istbar.dll problem

Got hit with a virus attack. While on internet using
internet explorer 6.0, at random, i get a message that
there is a dll problem; IST bar.dll then the internet
goes off.

I have Run updated virus program and adware but problem
still exists. Tried several search websites, Microsoft IE
searches and no luck. Found alot of software for sale to
fix dll problems but no technical help. Also, went into n
IE under add ons; all dll's were enabled but there was no
IST bar. dll.

Would anyone please help?
