Internet Explorer Problem

When I am on line with a dial up connection, every 4
minutes or so, I get a popup that says NT
Authotity\System is going to shut down the system. It
says there is an error in the Remote Procedure Call. It
counts down from about 50 seconds and then proceeds to
restart the unit. I have tried to re install the software
completely three times. This is a Sony VAIO PCG-9H4L with
Windows XP Home edition. What gives?

sounds like you got a worm....go to microsoft.com and
download security path right after you clean install your
computer.....
