Internet Explorer only saves pics as bmp

Pretty simple -- trying to save pictures directly from
Internet Explorer (whether via right-click, or with that
little four-button-bar that comes up when I hover the
mouse on a large enough pic), I am only allowed to save
as Bitmap, whether it is actually a bmp, or a jpg or gif
or whatever else -- only bitmap. Any suggestions other
than getting the url of the pic and putting it into a
download manager?

Time to perform some house cleaning chores:

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE , and hit enter.
This will start your disk cleanup utility. Make sure to cleanup
your Temporary Internet Files.
