Internet Explorer not working.

Internet Explorer not working after repairing Windows Xp. I tried to
uninstall later version of Internet Explorer and repair Windows Xp again but
it still not working. Please help me, I need to use Internet Explorer.

Why did you need to repair Windows XP and what specific method did you
use?

What do you mean exactly by the phrase "not working"? What exactly
happens? Are there any error messages?

What happens when you do the following:

Start | Run... | type "cmd" (without the quotation marks) | OK

You now have a command prompt. Type:

ping www.google.com

and press the Enter key.
 
What anti-virus application was installed when the problem first started and
was the subsciption current?

The "not working" means when I click on the Internet Explorer icon, it just nothing happen. It will not display the Internet Explorer window. This problem start after I repaired my computer. I know that I forgot to uninstall the later version of Internet Explorer. And now, I don't know how can I fix this problem.
 
Go to control panel -- add/remove--on left side click windows components.
Put check on internet explorer. If there, remove check mark, back out then
go back and put
check mark on IE.
