Internet Explorer Dont browse in a Workstation having Win2K professional OS but it can see the server alongwith all other workstations. what should i do now

Please try be a bit more specific about your problem. What error message is
showing up when you launch Internet Explorer? Sounds like a DNS problem.
Or a routing problem. Or a network access problem (private tcp/ip network).

.... in order to achieve what? If you can see a station in network
neighbourhood, the browse master has it in the browse list, therefore, you
did browse.

If you plan to access resources, creating a share with appropriately
configured permissions on target(s) should help. Also, the account used to
connect to a target's resource must be an existing account at the target
(server) with the appropriately configured "rights" to access the resource.
NT 101.

In other words, if user Joe wants to browse to a resource on a given server,

a) the Joe account must already exist at the server, (exception: anonymous
Guest access)
b) Joe needs the right to connect to server,
c) Joe needs the permissions (share + possibly ntfs) to access the resource.

browse != authentication
