internet explorer home page

when i click on my I.E. icon its comes up with
c:\searchpage.html instead of of what i want
www.msn.home.com. when i change it in internet options to
that it still comes back.ive went in and deleted it from
where its showing in c drive and change my home page but
it still comes back help me please.im using windows xp
home edition
