Internet explorer home page

For some reason my home page is stuck on http://globe-finder.cc/

i have tried the usual - going into web options and selecting current page
as my home page, running ad aware/spy bot to remove anything that will
affect it but all to no avail

can anyone help please

Global-Finder (CoolWebSearch spyware). This is a trojan/spyware that hijacks
Internet Explorer start and search settings to one of several different web
sites

Download CoolWebSearch destroyer from here:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip

And download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com and update it. It eliminates
for any other spyware, if present in the system.

I had a similar thing happen to me and I finally had to
save all my data and then format the C drjve and reload
all the stuff again. Some vendors find a way to burry
their code.

One thing you might try is finding out what folder your
cookies are stored in and delete them from the folder
using windows and not Internet explorer. Mabey this will
get ride of the unwanted mess
