Internet Explorer History

When I clear history on IE 6, History shows empty, but
when I run Norton's Works, Fast & Safe Clean Up, I have a
1.3 MB histoey file that Norton's program won't (can't)
delete. Norton's disk doctor won't fix the problem. This
has all come about in the last 2 weeks. Anyone got any
suggestions how to get this history file off of my
system.??

You may need to turn off System Restore

That 1.3 MB may be the History\index.dat file. Delete the History folder and
a new one will be created.
