Internet Explorer hanging

i am running windows vista Enterprise and everytime i close internet
explorer, it hanmgs and trys to look for a solution which it does nt show.
this happens every time i close the program(internet exploere). any help?

Would suggest setting things to default.

Control Panel [Classic view] > Internet Options > Advanced (tab) > Reset
 
Thanks. This worked. is this an add-onn issue or some other setting?

Yes, it may well have been an add-on that caused the problem.
