internet explorer couldn't open

i'm havin this problem with ie6 installed on a win98
O/S.any ie icon cannot open the explorer.i tried to open
windowsupdate also cannot.seems like nothing happen.pls
help if anybody could help solving this problem.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
