Internet explorer colors are at 16bit

Hi,
I am using an "ATI all in wonder Radeon" graphics card
with the latest drivers on a windows xp machine. My
computers resolution is at 800x600 with 32high color.

When I am in internet explorer, pictures look like they
are in 16bit color and not 32high. If I right mouse click
on the picture I can choose, "Display image with full
quality" which will make the picture 32high. I have to do
it for each individual picture. Is there a way to fix
this problem. This problem does not exist in normal
window applications. Any thoughts?

This sounds as if you might be using an ISP that compresses images before
sending them to your computer. There are a few ISPs that I know of that do
this in order to deliver to the customer faster download speeds over dial-up
connections. Most of them do offer a configuration setting that turns off
this compression. If you use one of these ISPs then you need to check with
them to see how to disable image compression.
