Internet Explorer closes on its own

My internet explorer closes on its own when i go to certain websites. It started doing this after I hooked up my laptop to a router. I really don't understanmd what is going on. Can someone please help me?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
