Internet Explorer Auto Login

Once I have declined the automatic login for a particular
web site, XP no longer offers the option for future logins.

How can I turn this back on for a given site? That is, I may
not have been sure what my password was the first time,
but once I have remembered it correctly, I would like the
program to automatically put in my user name and password
(after I type the first letter) in latter times.

What do you think about turning autocomplete off?
this might reset all pages. i don't know
Then reboot and turn back on.
Maybe will reset registry key.

Do you have XP Home or Pro?
there is an article about Home.

I found this article, also.

click on utility, left column, then restore IE prompt for save passwords,
right column

Thanks again. Looking in the Registery, it appears that has also
already been done. However, while browsing that area, I noticed
a section labeled Intelliforms/SPW which seems to be where the
various passwords are stored (in hex format?). If I knew how to
edit that stuff, perhaps I could fix it that way (but I don't).

Checking Microsoft yields http://tinyurl.com/csyi , which indicates
your first suggestion may be the only way to go - that is, clear them
all and re-enter. Looking for a way not to have to remember all the
old stuff produced this site, which I ran as well:

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/pspv.html

Now THAT is an interesting program. Appreciate the responses!

In case anyone needs it in the future, that program solved the
glitch. All one has to do is run the pspv.exe file, delete the
line that has a login name but no password, and visit the
particular site again. This time, login with name and pw, and
XP will offer the 'do you wanna save' thingie.

It also shows all the 'fill in the blanks' sites one has visited, with
the information provided. It even has Mapquest searches I have
made. Could be most embarrassing, should the wife discover X-rated
sites visited, and allows one to delete such information before it
could later be discovered!

Not that I personally have such an issue, of course.
