internet explorer and java

1. i have windows xp and aol 9.0, cannot go to live help
on aol as it gives this message:
"You will need to activate Java technology in your
browser to use NetAgent - Java Customer Client."
how do i do this???
2. cannot display certain websites, just gives a "blank
page" only on some sites, ie "orbitz.com"

Microsoft no longer supplies a JavaVM with Windows. If you want to run Java
apps, you can download the Java software from Sun.

ok...i'm having the same problems and i already downloaded that and it did not work...what else could i do?

YES - I have the answer!

Goto http://www.java.com and click on the [GET IT NOW] button.

It's a download and install. Follow the prompts. If there is a problem
go back and read the installation pages.

No help from AOL on this problem they told me to contact my PC
manufacturer. LOL. They don't have a clue!!!
