The address bar in my internet explorer window shows up but the arrow button
does not let me see where I've been. Yes. I have been places so there
should be something there. How do I change it so it lets me see the
addresses?

What version are you using? Maybe autocomplete is turned off? Maybe when
you ran a cleaning process it delete them. Has it ever worked? Use
AutoComplete
This feature saves you time when you are typing web addresses or completing
entries on webpages by displaying a list of previous matching entries as you
type.

To turn AutoComplete on or off

1.. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2.. Click the Content tab, and then click AutoComplete.
3.. Select the check box beside each AutoComplete option you want to turn
on, and then click OK twice.

I am using the latest version. Auto complete is turned on. Nothing has been
deleted.
Say I visit 15 different websites while on-line. After the 15th website
there should be 15 websites disiplayed under the arrow in the address bar.
The arrow will not expand the address bar to show me what sites I have been
to. It used to. I have run virus software and adware scans, but it didn't
find anything and nothing changed.

No it doesn't work like that. The address bar will show you the addresses
you have typed in when you select the down arrow. History will show you all
the sites you have visited.

I guess I worded things wrong in my last post, but your reply did trigger
some thoughts that solved the problem. I realized that the sites I'd visited
were visited through "favorites" and didn't get typed in. Therefore wouldn't
show up under the arrow button. Thanks for you help.

I am unable to write anything in the address bar or even to change the
numbers in Free Cell select. It does not allow printing in any case. even in
the run space. It is not limited to Internet Exploret as it even will not
allow printing in word programs.
