If you haven't done so already you might want to post this
question to the Internet Explorer newsgroup.

If you're referring to the padlock that used to appear in the
Status bar at the bottom of Internet Explorer 6 when you
accessed a secure web site (begins https://), it's moved. In
IE7, you should now see the padlock at the top of the window
next to the address bar. You can click on the padlock for more
information about the site.

You might want to look in IE7's help for a topic titled "How to
know if an online transaction is secure". You can also get the
same info from this site.

The sites you've added to your "Trusted Site" list (the ones
with the green check mark) don't necessarily have to be secure
sites.

Good luck

No, it is the Phishing Filter feature on IE7, you still see the Padlock if
you gone on secure website https://.
What you see is a new feature to alert you that this site which you are on
is not good if it changed colour on the Meter.
What you see look like this [ i ] the one I'm talking about and the one you
are asking about.
